Doctor Boothe is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has performed the most IntraLASIK procedures in the world and has more than 110,000 LASIK surgeries to his credit. A native Texan, Dr. Boothe earned his undergraduate degree from Rice University, graduating with honors. He went on to obtain his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern School in Dallas and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Texas Tech University School of Medicine. Doctor Boothe went on to obtain further education by completing a specialty fellowship training in cornea and refractive surgery at the famous Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA’s School of Medicine.
Dr. Boothe was the first LASIK surgeon in the Dallas area to use the excimer laser approved by the FDA.
